Last mermaid of May (a tad bit late ).
You know that feeling when you feel frustrated you need to draw something soothing once for awhile? Well, I’ve always loved to draw this cute ant and bee couple: just taking time to make shadows on paper relaxes me.

Dramatic fact: background aren’t my thing (I know: how surprising and tragic )
But I wouldn’t missed on the Mermay bandwagon AT ALL!!
Even though I’m pretty sure that would the only mermaid I’ll do…..

THIS MOVIE !!!
WHY HAVEN’T I NEVER WATCHED BEFORE ??? CURSE MY IGNORANT BUTT !!!
I seriously did have an existential crisis after the end, I was in my chair just screaming in my tiny appartement as my brain tried to comprehend why of all great movies I’ve seen; THIS ONE shook me that much !
( it was going for 45 min so I’ll spare you the crazy details )
But in serious, it’s such a great movie: the story is really well done with interesting characters :
Did I love the main characters ? Yes
Was I on the Colonel’s side by the end ? YEAH PROTECT YOUR NASTY CORRUPT TOWN !!!
Even though they explained Testuo’s past and why he acts like this, do I still think he’s an idiot ? Yes, Yes I freaking do– And I like that idiot
Were those questions kind of a spoiler ? Maybe BUT WHO CARES
And gosh that animation: it didn’t have aged that much AT ALL ! The details put into it (and it’s the same thing for the background and character’s details) and those explosions animations !!! I’m not at that level yet and doubt I will but those fx were beautiful !
But I have no words for it: it’s a great movie, and by that I mean I FELT LIKE A NUMB BREATHING FLESH AND DEATH HAD NO EFFECT ON ME!!
DAMN !!
And I want that jacket and YOU WANT IT !!
